Baize & Bed exists to answer one practical question: which hotels in Great Britain share a building, a complex or an estate with a licensed casino, and what do you need to know before you go.
The name is the two halves of the idea: baize, the green cloth on a gaming table, and bed, the room upstairs.
We list 11 pairings in England and Scotland, each verified against the Gambling Commission’s public register and the operators’ own pages on 12 September 2026. We describe; we do not sell. There are no bookings, no prices, no promotions, no affiliate links and no online gambling on this site, and it links to no gambling website at all; casinos are identified by their Gambling Commission account numbers.
Independence is easy to claim and hard to show, so the how we verify page lists the inclusion rule, every source, the venues we examined and left out, and the licence of every photograph. If a venue would rather not be listed, or a fact is wrong, write to us and we will act on it.
The site is published in English and Polish. The Polish edition is for Polish speakers living in or visiting Great Britain; it is not addressed to Poland.
