How we verify
The rule, the sources, and what we left out.
This is a directory of facts, not opinions. Here is the inclusion rule, how each fact was checked, the venues we examined and excluded, and the licence of every photograph.
The inclusion rule
A hotel is listed only if a casino licensed by the Gambling Commission shares one of three things with it:

| Same complex | Hotel and casino are parts of one building complex, such as an arena, a resort or a mixed-use block, with their own entrances. |
| Same estate | Hotel and casino are separate buildings inside one leisure or retail estate. You walk across the site, not through public streets. |
A casino that is merely “a short walk” away through public streets does not qualify, however close. Where the relationship rests on addresses and photographs rather than an operator’s statement, the venue page says so.
How each fact was checked
- Licence. The operator and the premises were looked up on the Gambling Commission’s public register: the operating licence account (Genting Casinos UK Limited 537; Grosvenor Casinos Limited 614; Grosvenor Casinos (GC) Limited 34161; Metropolitan Gaming as stated on its website) and the premises address, which for several venues is literally the hotel’s address or “ground floor” of the hotel.
- Casino facts. Hours, live-table times, games, facilities, entry policy and dress code were taken from the operator’s own venue page on 12 September 2026.
- Hotel facts. Check-in and check-out, minimum age, parking and room counts were taken from the hotel’s own site where it could be read. Where a hotel site blocked automated reading, figures from booking platforms are used and marked “booking-platform figure”.
- Nothing invented. Unknown fields say so. We publish no prices, star ratings, reviews, visitor numbers, promotions or editorial impressions.
Data is re-checked before each advertising campaign; the check date sits in the footer and on every venue page. Send corrections to the contact page.
Checked and not included
Great Britain has well over a hundred licensed casinos. We did not audit every one; these are the venues we examined because they seemed likely to qualify, with the reason each was left out.

The legal frame this site is built to
- Gambling Act 2005, Part 16. Section 330 makes it an offence to advertise unlawful gambling. Every casino here is licensed and its premises are on the Commission’s register; this site links to no gambling website of any kind.
- CAP Code section 16 (the advertising rules enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority) requires gambling marketing to be socially responsible: no suggestion that gambling solves money problems, no link to sexual success or toughness, nothing of strong appeal to under-18s, no one under 25 shown gambling. Our copy and photographs follow those rules.
- Gambling Commission codes. Think 25 age checks and test purchasing have applied to all land-based venues since 30 August 2024; SENSE is the recognised casino self-exclusion scheme.
- Consumer law. The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 bans drip pricing and misleading omissions; because we cannot guarantee a live total price we show none and link to the seller.
- Privacy. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, and the location feature runs entirely in your browser (see privacy and cookies).
- Languages. The Polish edition of this site is written for Polish speakers living in or visiting Great Britain. It is not addressed to Poland, where article 29 of the Gambling Act of 19 November 2009 prohibits advertising and promoting roulette, card, dice and slot-machine games anywhere other than inside a gaming venue, and it is not advertised there.

Venue photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under the licence shown; atmosphere photographs are from Pexels under the Pexels licence. No photograph of one venue is presented as another; where a picture shows the street or the station rather than the building, the caption says so.
