Baize & Bed is an information directory. It does not provide facilities for gambling, does not sell or arrange accommodation, does not process payments and holds no gambling licence because it needs none: it describes only gambling that is lawful in Great Britain, provided by operators licensed by the Gambling Commission whose account numbers are shown on each venue page (Gambling Act 2005, sections 327 and 330). It carries no advertising for remote (online) gambling and links to no gambling website.
Advertising standards
Content is written to section 16 of the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code) as enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority. Marketing of this site is directed at adults aged 18 and over in Great Britain only. The Polish edition is addressed to Polish speakers in Great Britain and is not marketed in Poland.
Trade marks and third-party content
Hotel and casino names, logos and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the venues. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any hotel, casino operator, Genting, The Rank Group, Metropolitan Gaming, IHG, Hilton, Marriott, Radisson, Accor, Millennium Hotels or Criterion Hospitality. Photographs are reproduced under the licences listed on the how we verify page.
Complaints
Complaints about this site go to the publisher by e-mail (see contact). Complaints about an advertisement for this site can also be made to the Advertising Standards Authority. Complaints about a casino go to the operator first and then to the Gambling Commission; complaints about a hotel go to the hotel.
